My computer is a new one desktop with Vista Home Premium. It works normaly in the begining but now I cannot acess the control panel it just blinks but urs is it new computer? or u bought vista and installed it yourself? I have the same problem. Weird thing is, it worked before but just not today. It's a new laptop.

To repair IE7 on Vista select Start>Control Panel>Internet Options, Advanced tab, Reset Button. This will disable all Toolbar and Browser Helper Addons and More than likely the problems you are experiencing (and which you have not given any detail about) are being caused by Addon Toolbars or Browser Helpers.

Have you heard of a vista update that has been generating this problem? It is not only effecting the printers but the control panel will not open from the start menu. You have to open my computer, expand the folder list, then open the control panel from there. It seems to be corrupting the MMC Snap-in.
